Welcome to CDMHS Basketball Booster Club's Free Throw Challenge page. We are raising money for Corona del Mar Boys Basketball.
To complete your registration for this event, please click on "Not Registered For This Event?". If you have already registered, sign in under "Already Registered?". If you are a returning family from a previous event, you will need to register for this event separately.
The site is designed with families in mind. We encourage you to enter all participants on the same account. This will send a donation request from all the participants and allow donors to make one donation that will be split evenly. If you want to register your participants separately you may by logging out after you register the first participant and registering again using a separate email address for the other participants.
What happens when I delete/add a participant to an existing account?
When you add a participant all donations will then be split between all the participants entered. When you delete a participant the donations will be split between the remaining participants. If there is only one participant remaining, that participant will receive credit for all donations. The deleted participant will be removed from all event reports and not receive any credit for raising any money.
Having trouble uploading a photo?
Make sure the photo is a .JPG. Some images may need to be opened on your computer and saved again as a .JPG before they can be used. The image might be too large and may need to be resized. A square shape image works best.
My picture is not centered on the request?
Under the Pledge Request Section, you can click and drag the image to center the image. Once the image is in the correct position, make sure you press Save Photo to save the position.
How do I enter a text number?
When you are sending text messages inside the United States the country code is 1 (like when dialing long distance). Add the area code between the () next to the number. Ex. (555)555-5555.
I don’t want to enter the donors information. Is there a donation link I can use and give to others?
After you register you will need to send at least one pledge request (even if it is to yourself) under the Add Family and Friends and Track Donations Section. Once you have added a donor, the Share on Social Media section will appear. You will be able to use the Facebook and/ or Twitter buttons to share. You can also use the link in this section to share on other social media platforms.

How do I remove donors?
To remove a donor you may use the help button at the bottom of the page. Under the category choose "Remove Donor" in the drop down. Please list the donors you would like removed in the comments section. You can also give us a call at 888-598-7510.
How do I opt out donors?
Donors may opt out at any time by pressing the unsubscribe button on the bottom of their emails. If you want to unsubscribe for them you may use the help button at the bottom of the page to submit the unsubscribe request. Under the category choose "Opt Out Donor" in the drop down. Please list the donors you would like unsubscribed in the comments section. You can also give us a call at 888-598-7510.
Will reminders be sent to my donors?
Yes. The event has set up a reminder schedule. Most events send one or two reminders to donors that have not yet made a donation. Some may schedule more. Once a donation is made they will not receive additional reminders.
How do I resend donation requests?
If you want to resend a request to certain donors on your donor list you may go to the Add Family and Friends and Track Donations Section, click the donors name, and scroll down to click the resend button.
My texts say queued?
When you see queued it means the text messages are in line to be sent. Texts are sent in batches. They will go out in the order entered. Text messages are sent between 9am and 8pm local time to your Free Throw Challenge. Texts entered after hours will begin sending the following morning at 9am.
My requests say undelivered?
Please check your email and text numbers to make sure they are correct.
Please make sure you did not use a text number or an email more than once. If you have duplicated an email or text number that you listed for another donor, your donation request will not be sent.
Verify that the recipient can accept emails from outside sources. Some companies or networks block or quarantine emails from outside sources and will not deliver them.
The email must use a valid email format.

If there is nothing obvious that you can correct please use the help button at the bottom of the page to contact support.
It says waiting for payment but also says a donation went through?
This indicates that there were multiple donation attempts made. One donation was successful. Waiting for payment could indicate that a donation did not go through, the donor is sending in a check, or the donor made a per rep pledge. Under the Add Family and Friends and Track donations section, if you click on the donors name you can see the details of the transactions. If the donor is sending in a check, when the school receives the check they will mark the check as received and update the donors status. If the donor tried to make a donation via credit card it may indicate abandoned. This means the donor did not complete the credit card transaction and the donor needs to try again. If the donor made a per rep pledge, the donor will be notified at the end of the event via email how much their per rep donation will be.
Can I see more information about the donor?
Under the Add Family and Friends and Track donations section, click on the donors name to see the details of their account including request status and donation status.
I have more than one account, how can I combine them?
Once donation requests are sent out from multiple accounts they can not be combined. This would break the links and render the requests sent to donors unusable. The event can combine the money for participants with multiple accounts on their reports. If an account was not used and needs to be deleted you can press the help button and contact support.
I entered several emails for donors and I don’t see them listed?
The emails were not entered successfully or your internet connection did not allow them to register. Please enter them again. Things to look out for:
Make sure they are not a duplicate email or text number of one that is already entered.
The email must use a valid email format.

In the Dear_______ section only enter a name, do not enter a long message.
You will know that a request has been successfully sent once the name of the donor appears under the donations request sent section.
How can I change the message that gets sent to donors?
The organization has created and approved the message that will be sent to your donors. If your organization has decided to allow for customized messages, when entering a donor’s information click the box next to “check the box if you would like to personalize or change the language of the donation letter”.
How do I enter my basket counts?
The organization will enter the basket counts and send the notice to the donor letting them know how to complete their donation. If your donor(s) have not received the information about their per basket pledge and the event ended three days ago, please click on the help button to contact support.
I entered the wrong name when registering?
Contact customer support using the button at the bottom of the page and they will be able to update your registration information.
